The strange parasite enters the body and lays it's eggs in the abdomen, it then grows and takes over motor control of the body. It's eggs hatch and the larvae engorge themselves on the lower part of the body while the mother finds a suitable nest to find more hosts.

It is unknown whether the host is truly still conscious in this time, but most specimens were put into soundproof cages as the researchers studying them could not stand the tormented screams of the host.
